Fall Show: Nov. 20th & 21st, Triple Pier Antiques Show

It all began with a freelance job for NBC.

I was commissioned to produce storyboards for the opening of their flagship store The NBC Experience at Rockefeller Center in New York City, and one of the departments within the store was NBC collectibles and memorabilia. They knew they wanted to create this shop but were at a loss of to how to fill it. Rather naively I exclaimed "I can do it!" and the following weekend I was on an extended road trip with my partner. In the end the NBC team were extremely pleased as they unpacked the loot of memorabilia I had collected.

And I was also pleased. On this trip I had found a wonderful Balenciaga suit from the 50's and I began noticing these fabulous forgotten clothes.

Emilio Pucci, Halston, Dior, Courreges - these are a few of my favorite things. My collection has grown impressively since then and I am now a regular at the vintage clothing shows here in New York. Who knew? I sell to the young Carrie Bradshaws as well as Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren and many of New Yorks best design teams. I believe my illustrative ability comes into play when putting together a vintage collection. Trends, color and the lines of a garment are important to me as a visual artist. I am almost as passionate about the vintage clothing world as I am about my art.

I look for that which stands apart and always go for that little number with "an edge".
